Google now finally allows users to directly sign up for Gmail accounts. So now there is no need for those invites. Just log in to www.gmail.com and click on the sign up now link. Follow through a few steps and wola! now you have access to the fastest and the coolest webmail service, all free… Sweet love, feels like heaven.
I remember I got my invite 2 years back from Realin and I couldn’t stop smirking. For I considered myself one of the few elite ppl in my college who got a gmail account. I used to write my ID on all my text books and then lend them to my juniors and they all looked at me like I was some tech god.. :shock: hehe… Ah well those were the naive days. 6 months into my brand new shining gmail acc, I finally came to know the bitter truth. Half the world now had a gmail account. I was crestfallen. I thought part of my coolness vanished forever. But the throne has been regained as I now have my own domain and could have my own supercool email ID’s once again. Humm coming to think of it - how would fartboy@xvzx.net or maybe showerphobic@xvzx.net sound??? :razz:
If you are still reading this, Stop begging your friends & spamming public forums and go get your own, now banal, gmail ID (It’s still the coolest one out there right now).
