Now that the preps for going to USA have taken some pace, I’ve started paying attention to my culinary demands. I’m too choosy about the type of food I eat. Give me properly cooked “aaloo ki sabzi” (with the super secret spicy recipe of my mom) & “paratha’s” – I’ll eat that alone for years to come. So for a change I switched from the role of Dr. Vishwas to Master Chef Vishy (of the la dhaba hotel)

We got a brand new samsung microwave oven yesterday and I inaugurated it with “Palak Paneer sabzi” today. The Tarla Dalal cook book said that it’ll take 7 minutes to cook and it did!! (well except for the 20 minutes my mom took to cut the veggies – I’ll learn that too at some later date  ). Here’s my 7 minute five step guide to prepare palak paneer

Step 1: Get a microwave oven from your neighbors or buy it (pick your fav option)

My brand new microwave

Step 2: Get a Cook Book

Tarla Dalal’s Cooking Recipe Book

Step 3: Get your mom to cut/chop/blend/gather all the ingredients

My dear mom helping me out with the cooking

Step 4: Follow the Instructions in the book

Getting my lazy self up to do some work

And finally Step 5: Wola!! the recepie is done in 7 minutes

All done and getting things ready

Ready to Serve “Palak Paneer

All ready to be eaten

When I was born the astrologer said that I’ll have a steep learning curve. He had no idea that I can directly skip to step 4 in my 5 step palak paneer guide.

It was easy. wasn’t it?? I bet you can give it a try too… hehe
