About a month before the much anticipated release of Ubuntu 7.10 (a.k.a Hardy Heron), Walt Mossberg gives a very bad jolt to the ubuntu community by rating it for power users only. In his review he mentions ubuntu as an OS that is not meant for the general population. I strongly disagree with him on this issue and think that ubuntu should be tried and adopted by almost anyone out there. It is free, easy to use, hassle free and bug free unlike the shitty MS windows (Believe me, I used vista for about 2 weeks and reverted back to ubuntu).
A fellow blogger, Lloyd, writes back to Walt reflecting similar thoughts to mine and I strongly agree with him. If you think that Windows Vista is eye candy then you should have a look at what Compiz Fusion can do… see here a few tricks up the sleeve of Compiz in Ubuntu

I’d say enjoy Ubuntu and F**K Microsoft
