Puru saab, I did not know that you've had your share of experiences too. By all means I can truly understand the confusion b/w choosing brands when going shopping with a girl. I've gone deep into submissiveness and do not even bother to make an active choice for myself. I leave it to smiti to choose for me. It works on 2 levels:

1). She is the better one at making choices than I and so I can rest assured that I get the nicest pair of apparel out there.

2) She also feels happy that she bought something for me

Ek teer se do shikaar... :D

Dear Wish,

I am really moved after reading your sneaker story .This story reminds of my shopping spree in Pune when my gal and I would go on a shoping spree and return empty handed -we could not build up a consensus on a single pair of shoes.

I tried to be smart and started taking out my friends on those confused shopping sprees to have something what we call as Majority. My gal was even smarter -she would play the emmotional card .As usual,we ended up buying nothin'.

Later my friends started boycotting me on my shopping trips as they realised that we were one of the choosiest couples in the world and would spend a month or so before actually buying anything :-p

Later we parted our ways...However as a respect to her and to the beautiful days that we spent together, that one pair of shoes that we succeeded in buying before breaking up ,is still kept somewhere in my Pune flat.

This was back in 2003 ....

In my opinion the first thing you do when you enter into a relationship or when you come close enough is to visit a mall and buy nice stuff for the companion, eat Bhuttas(by and large all gals love them),gulp pani pooris and return home late and cook up some nice excuses(i did not have cook up stories as I wasnt staying with my parents .Those memories cant be written off the wall.

For some it becomes a memorable experience for some it haunts like anything. Luckily for you its been the former one.

Hope you are enjoyin your new emmotion free sneakers.

Regards
