As I continue the struggle to strike a balance between a 40 hr a week job, USMLE studies and active blogging - I take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy new year (I know, I know - It’s late but atleast I wished you). Like all things I do in life, I strive for simplicity and in the process, tend to complicate things. Don’t get confused b/w simplistic and minimalistic. I am by no means a minimalistic person and believe in (a self made one liner) - “If you’ve got it, flaunt it”. Flamboyancy usually manifests itself in grandiosity but I wish to refrain from such an ostentatious display (of anything that I’ve got) while still aesthetically representing myself. This is where my simplistic proclivity comes into play and I struggle to flaunt things gracefully with an inkling of class.
As an affirmative step I’ve decided to start with my blog and tweaked the layout a bit to make it more simplistic. All / some of the gaudy distractions have been removed / replaced in the current theme to make it more applealing. While attempting this exercise, I actually shifted through 6 different theme packs before zeroing in on the current theme or K2. Try as I might, somehow this current theme seems to bring me back to it for unkown reasons (I did consider changing it some time back too). I’m still open to suggestions, keep those comments coming.
