Going Naked

April 4th, 2008

CSS Naked Logo April 9th of this year is going to be celebrated as CSS naked day - which, for the lame, means that I will be stripping the style sheets (little lines of code that make this site look elegant) off this site for a period of 48 hours. The whole goal behind this movement is to promote Web Standards. Plain and simple. This includes proper use of (x)html, semantic markup, a good hierarchy structure, and of course, a good ‘ol play on words.

What this symbolizes for me is that words are more powerful than a gaudy display. If you happen to be reading my blog on 9th April, don’t be surprised to find something wry. Incongruous balderdash will be back to its original self after 48 hrs.
