My quest for the guitar may have been offset by a day or two (all the blame goes to the sales person at guitar center who did not agree to give me a $40 discount) but the spirit lives on. After a very refreshing outing at my local guitar center at plymouth meeting mall and trying out various guitars (mainly the Mexican HSS Strat and Epiphone Les paul ultra), I’ve decided to opt for the softer sounding Fender Mex HSS Strat with Maple fretboard (I just love the sound of maple wood. Rose wood was too harsh for me).

The BOSS GT-8

All that remains is to call up joe at 8th Street music shop (8th and Arch street) and get that $360 strat. Its only a matter of days before I can lay my hands on my fat strat. The real deal, however, was made today on ebay where I got hold of a slightly used BOSS GT-8 multi effects processor for a dirt cheap price of $275 (including shipping). JACKPOT BABY!!!

I know its not the infamous GT-10 with its user friendly interface but who cares. Its not that expensive either ($500 for the GT-10! :shock_tb:). Check out some of the pics that I took today at guitar center and my new foot board - GT-8.. It kicks ass :jittery_tb:
