What do you do when the country’s largest Electronic medical records system crashes upon you? You pass your time by blogging about it in a very non-descript manner. Hey we’re not supposed to talk about “secret” stuff as per HIPAA. Just shows how we’ve become so dependent upon computers for health care. There are 2 discharges pending for me, 1 pending admission and need to put in tons of orders. The funny thing is that nursing staff could not even find paper forms to order stat labs. Am I the only person who sees humor in this situation?
BTW sorry for the very large intervals b/w posts. Being an intern is taking its toll. I’m trying to get a new phone for mobile blogging but so far only the iPhone has a native wordpress app and I’m not too inclined on buying it since it does not support multitasking. My search continues
